FCC to fine AT&T $100M for throttling customers with unlimited data

The Federal Communications Commission plans to fine AT&T $100 million for misleading customers about unlimited mobile data plans. The FCC released a statement Wednesday saying that its investigation alleges that the Dallas-based company slowed data speeds for customers with unlimited data plans and that it didn’t adequately notify customers about receiving slower speeds.
