$18M in security upgrades proposed for state recruiting facilities

Following the July attack in Chattanooga, the Tennessee National Guard is looking to increase security at state recruiting facilities to the tune of $18 million. According to The Tennessean, Tennessee Guard head Maj. Gen. Max Haston, in conjunction with Gov. Bill Haslam, told lawmakers the majority of that funding would go toward better fences.
