Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are removing artificial colors and flavors from their menu items. For example, at Taco Bell, actual black pepper will be used -- instead of black pepper flavoring -- in the seasoned beef; the nacho cheese will no longer contain the artificial dye Yellow No. 6; and the avocado ranch dressing will drop Blue No. 1, The Courier-Journal reports.
